A classical celebration of heroes as experienced through
such selections as Beethoven's "Eroica" and Wagner's "Siegfried's Funeral March" featured in the movie
"Excalibur," and a John Williams' salute to the Olympics.
You'll also hear the side-by-side performance of area high
school musicians, as well as the solo performance of the
Young Artist Competition winner.
Washington Symphony Orchestra
receives state arts funding support through a grant from
the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts, a state agency
funded by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the
National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency.
