Supporting the WSO

The Washington Symphony Orchestra sponsorship and donor programs offer individuals, organizations and businesses many opportunities to support the Orchestra. 

The Washington Symphony Orchestra, Inc., is a Pennsylvania non-profit corporation, recognized as a tax-exempt charitable organization under section 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue code.  Your donations to the Orchestra are tax-deductible and always welcome.

With your help, we can ensure that beautiful music will play a vital role in our community for years to come.  Please consider participating in one or more of the following programs:

Chair Sponsorship

The Chair Sponsorship offers you the opportunity to sponsor one or more musician positions of your choosing for an entire season.  Your name will appear with the musician's name in the Orchestra program for the sponsorship season.  The annual gifts listed below will fund each chair for a single season:

Donors

The Washington Symphony Orchestra welcomes all contributions from individuals, organizations and businesses.  All our donors are recognized in each copy of the program listing for the season in which they donate.

Donors are recognized at the following levels:

Salute - up to $99 Bravo - $500 to 749 (donors at this level receive two complimentary season tickets)
Applause - $100 to $249 Encore - $750 to $999 (donors at this level receive four complimentary season tickets)
Cheer - $250 to $499


Standing Ovation - $1,000 to $2,499 (donors at this level receive six season tickets and a listing as a donor in concert programs) Contributing Sponsor - $10,000 to $14,999 (donors at this level receive twenty season tickets, a listing or corporate logo as a sponsor in concert programs, and a full page ad in the concert program)
Supporter - $2,500 to $4,999 (donors at this level receive eight season tickets, a listing as a supporter in concert programs, and a quarter page ad in the concert program)  Presenting Sponsor - $15,000 and above (donors at this level receive twenty season tickets, a listing or corporate logo as a sponsor in concert programs and on the front of concert programs, a full page ad in the concert program, public recognition as a presenting sponsor during one concert intermission, a one hour Chamber Concert presented at a mutually agreeable time, and are featured as a presenting sponsor in all advertising)
Sponsor - $5,000 to $9,999 (donors at this level receive ten season tickets, a listing or corporate logo as a sponsor in concert programs, and a half page ad in the concert program)

Program Advertising

The Washington Symphony Orchestra solicits advertising for its concert programs at the following rates.  All advertisements will appear in each program throughout the season.
