Side-by-Side Program
For students in grades 9 through 12.
Our Side-By-Side program allows high school musicians to play alongside orchestra members in order to expand their skills and knowledge. Students will attend all rehearsals for the concert and perform alongside orchestra members.
Students must have teacher/instructor recommendation to be considered.
Applications are due in February 2026, the competition is at the end of March, and the student will perform with us at the May concert. For questions, please email info@washsym.org or call 412-512-1662.
How to Apply
The student applicant must complete the student application form, and their music teacher or instructor must complete the recommendation form.
