Young Vocalist Competition

For students in grades 9 through 12.

The WSO sponsors the Young Vocalist Competition each year. Students who audition are asked to sing one standard repertoire piece. Applicants must bring an accompanist to their audition. *Musical theater pieces are highly encouraged for the 2026 competition.

Winner Announced

The winner will receive a cash prize and the opportunity to perform a solo with the WSO at the March concert.

Applications are due January 14, 2026. The audition will be held on January 20, 2026.
