Young Artist Competition

For students in grades 9 through 12.

The WSO sponsors the Young Artist Competition each year. Instruments include brass, harp, percussion, piano, strings, and woodwinds. Students who audition will be asked to play one movement of a standard repertoire piece for solo instruments and orchestra. 

Applicants must bring an accompanist to their audition. 

The winner will be able to perform a solo with the WSO at the March concert and will receive a cash prize.
