The experience makes music approachable, interactive, and exciting—especially for children who may never have had the opportunity to hold or try an orchestral instrument.

What Can You Explore?

The Instrument Petting Zoo may feature instruments such as violin, viola, cello, trumpet, trombone, French horn, clarinet, flute, alto saxophone, and assorted percussion.

We may also include unique instruments such as a theremin or Otamatone, as well as beginner-friendly instruments designed for smaller hands.

Choosing a Beginner Instrument

Families can also learn what to look for when choosing a quality beginner instrument, including the difference between very inexpensive instruments purchased online and dependable student instruments.
