Anne Jackovic Moskal is recognized for her artistry, versatility, and leadership within major regional orchestras and chamber ensembles
Currently serving as Concertmaster of the Chamber Orchestra of Pittsburgh since 2015, she also holds the position of Associate Concertmaster of Wheeling Symphony Orchestra, Principal Second Violin with the Pittsburgh Opera Orchestra (as of 2024) and has been a core member of the Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre Orchestra 2007, respectively. Moskal has also performed as Concertmaster for Andrea Bocelli, Josh Groban and as well as others.
Moskal's artistry has been recognized with numerous awards, including the prestigious Dorothy Richard Starling Violin Scholarship and the Harry G. Archer Award from Carnegie Mellon University. She was a finalist in the Carnegie Mellon Concerto Competition, resulting in a featured solo performance with the Philharmonic, and has been consistently honored in the Keynotes Scholarship Competition. A performance highlight includes her solo appearance for Prince Philippe and Princess Christine of Chimay, Belgium.
In addition to her performance career, Moskal is committed to advancing the next generation of musicians through teaching, mentorship, and community engagement. Moskal joined the faculty at Carnegie Mellon University over 15 years ago leading Solfege and Yoga for Musicians classes. She continues to perform as a soloist, orchestral leader, and chamber musician, embodying excellence and dedication to the highest standards of the classical tradition.
