Youth Choir Registration

Choir Singing

Open to high school students in grades 9-12.

The Washington Symphony Orchestra Youth Choir provides high school students with the opportunity to grow as vocal musicians, build confidence, and experience the joy of singing in a supportive ensemble setting.

This free program is designed for students who love to sing and want to develop their skills through meaningful rehearsal and performance experiences. The Youth Choir will explore a variety of choral music while helping students build healthy vocal technique, musicianship, teamwork, and performance confidence.

Students will have the opportunity to:

  • Learn from experienced music educators
  • Rehearse with other young singers
  • Perform as part of special WSO programs and community events.

Through this program, the WSO hopes to provide accessible musical opportunities for young vocalists while fostering the next generation of performers, arts supporters, and community leaders.

Eligibility

The Youth Choir is open to:

  •  High school students in grades 9-12 throughout the region.
  • Prior choral experience is helpful but not required.
  • Students should simply have an interest in singing, a willingness to learn, and a commitment to attending rehearsals and performances.

Interested students and families are encouraged to complete the registration form to receive updates.
