Christopher Campus

Trumpet

Christopher graduated from California University of Pennsylvania (Now PennWest California) in 2013 with a degree in Mathematics and a Minor in Music, taking part in the many ensemble and private lesson opportunities during his studies. During his final year of college, Christopher was offered a seat in the WSO by then-Music Department Head Yugo Ikach. Christopher has been with the WSO ever since, performing with the full orchestra and the WSO Brass Quintet on many occasions. He also met his wife and WSO oboist, Laura, during his time with the group. Christopher has studied with Pittsburgh trumpeters Wesley Ward, Matthew Pienkowski, and the late Frank Podroskey. 

Outside of the WSO, Christopher is a part of the St. James Roman Catholic Church Schola, located in the West End of Pittsburgh. He also works as an accountant for Eat’n Park Hospitality Group.
