Margaret Kenney is a graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in music education. She was a student of Joseph Lukatsky, former Pittsburgh Symphony English Horn. In addition to pursuing her love of music, she has earned a Master of Library Science degree and a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science from the University of Pittsburgh.

In addition to playing for the WSO Margaret also currently plays with the Pittsburgh Savoyards and Community Band South.
