Cello

My cello journey began the week after my son played his violin senior recital. I did not learn music as a child, and decided it was my turn to learn an instrument. So I became a "mid-life cellist". Continuing private lessons is a passion, there is so much left to learn. I had been an art teacher and a bank teller. When retirement arrived, I was honored to join the Washington Symphony Orchestra. It is wonderful to sit in the middle of such inspiring music, and I hope to be a part of this for many more years.
